How do profile sales work?

After coffee cost, 80% of each bag’s profit goes to the supported profile and 20% goes to the website. Shipping is extra and is not split.

How do profiles get paid out?

Payments are deposited to Tattered Lives Farm PayPal account. Profile payouts transfer automatically after the profile account reaches its first $100, then payments are made weekly minus any bank fees for transfers. We suggest you contact your institution to understand any associated transfer fees. Tattered Beans is not responsible for transfer fees.

Can anyone sign up for a profile?

The short answer is yes. You can be an entrepreneur wanting to make money while you are sleeping, a team wanting to raise money, or you have a cause you want to raise money for. The only NO is NO hate groups allowed and a profile can be deleted at Tattered Beans’ discretion.

How do I market my profile on Tattered Beans?

Once you sign up, in your profile you will find a link and/or QR code you can post or share with others that will direct them right to your profile.

How does a profile financially benefit from orders other than coffee?

No. Your profile only receives a percentage of sales from the coffee. All merch orders go directly to Tattered Beans and its parent company, the nonprofit Tattered Lives Farm, Inc 501(c)(3) 84-3704953.

Do I have to choose a profile?

No. If you do not find someone to support, orders go directly to Tattered Lives Farm.

When will my coffee ship?

Paid orders are packed and shipped with Pirate Ship (discounted USPS rates) to the address you enter at checkout within 72 hours. You can also pick up a bag at listed map locations when available, and if you live within 20 miles of Hampstead, NC you can have it delivered free.

How do I get a profile?

Create a free account, verify your email, and choose Individual, Charity, Organization, or Team. Your public profile appears after verification.

How is a profile verified?

Any profile outside a personal profile will be verified that you are authorized to post a profile for the Charity, Organization, or Team and confirm where funds are to go on payouts.

Can I make more than one profile?

Yes, you can have one profile in each category but outside a personal profile, they will be verified.

Does the new Tattered Beans support Military members?

The look maybe new but the support for our active-duty military, national guard members and veterans is still a core value of Tattered Beans.
